  1. Since taking over, redwings franchise has gone up 400 million dollars in value. This is just greed.

  2. Boycotting a 1 star rated trash company is a hilarious response to paying , supposedly, 10 mill for being on a jersey. Big L for the red wings and the most hated company in Michigan today.

  3. As a pens fan it’s honestly making me sick how many videos you’ve made recently about Jake being traded. Honestly I don’t think he’s getting moved. Especially if we keep winning we literally just beat the Canucks in an amazing effort game in OT lol

  4. We hated the idea but we thought maybe if someone like Red Wing boots or maybe the Dodge ram logo would be pretty cool but no, we got a trash company, they knew we would hate this, so they put the worst thing possible on are beautiful jerseys………wtf

  5. I hate people that say "get over it" about the jersey ads. You do realize its never going away right?? Only a matter of time until more and more and MORE are added until they look like SHL teams.

  6. super lame,,, looks terrible,, the least they could have done is only had the logo and not the lettering,, boooooooooo

  7. My only issue with the patch is it’s on the same side as the captain letters. I’m concerned how it’s going to fit and look on the jersey.

  8. Would be funny if Yzerman just gives up a few pieces and maybe a young and upcoming player for draft picks. Then just brings up a few pieces from the AHL for the rest of the season. Don't know if Yzerman thinks this year is the year to legitimately compete for the Cup with 1 or 2 trades. Maybe he'll have them compete as is, minus 1 or 2 from the current roster and then bring up someone from the AHL. See how they do, analyze it and then on the off-season he gets a big name with a few draft picks and a young gun. Anyone else feel that way?

  9. I mean… the funny thing is, they could say they're taking out the trash, right? But I really hate jersey ads, and it kinda makes my stomach turn that we have them now. But at least it matches the color profile.

  10. Honestly as a soccer fan. The jersey sponsor backlash is new to me. But I understand it. I'm just glad that they did it in a way that's local and matches the jerseys. Also I personally think we shouldn't trade for forwards. We need someone to take minutes off seider. He needs support first before we do anything else

  11. Not really interested in Guentzel. A little too old, will probably want too much money and too much term. If he is willing to sign at 5×6.5 maybe a mid tier prospect and a 2nd/3rd rounder. Maybe some Yzerman magic and an equal trade for Copp? Other than that he isn't worth the assets to us. I think a team like Tampa or Boston who have an inevitable rebuild on the horizon but want to remain in the hunt for another 3-4 years might be willing to give him the term he's after.

  12. I'm trying to figure out what Priority gains from this sponsorship. It's not like many fans will go out and choose a new garbage collection company based on the sponsorship.

Personally, a few years ago, one of my car tires had a slow leak. My dealership looked at it and said that they fixed it, but the pressure drops continued, so I needed to see a tire specialist. Since Bell Tire was a major Red Wings sponsor at the time, I decided to give them first dibs. They fully fixed it on the first try, and I've had good experiences with Bell Tire ever since, but the Red Wings sponsorship is the reason I originally went there as opposed to somewhere else. So I see how they got their money's worth from the sponsorship.

But I don't pick my garbage collection company, and I couldn't even tell you which company I presently get this service from, or change it if I wanted to. It would seem to be a relatively small number of people who award these contracts for municipalities or businesses, and most of the people who see these patches will never directly make such a decision. So what does it benefit this company to have good publicity with people like me who don't award such contracts?

  13. I'd be less upset about the jersey ad if the team owners hadn't taken over 1 billion dollars from the city of Detroit for promises that remain unfulfilled. Christopher Illitch and the Illitch family are garbage enriching themselves at the cost of the people of Detroit.

  14. This is pathetic, shameful and embarrassing to see. How much corporate can it get for these people. Heck no from a 37 year fan.
