I follow the oilers as much as I follow the Canucks… media is crazy different… I’ve hardly heard any peeps about draisaitl’s future and his contract ends (checks notes…) the same time as Petey’s!!! Van media can really be aggravating… and they get SO defensive if you call them out for it… I love Mike halford cause he leans into the absurdity, but brough has been gaslighting us for the past 3 weeks about Petey

Okay I must be missing it. I keep seeing all these posts about our media being these massive shit stirrers who WANT things to go poorly for us and get all the rage clicks and I have not seen any of that from the usual media I’m Vancouver. Like what am I missing? I tend to follow Drance, Dhaliwal, Wagner, and CanucksArmy in general and I don’t see any of this. Closest was Dhali reporting on Petey but it was never anything particularly negative. It was him going that he heard things had been going on behind the scenes and with the news that Carolina was in talks for trade, that seems to add up. Are there other reports actively trying to stir the spot?
