This game shows why The Penguins acquired Erik Karlsson this past summer and Tristan Jarry is the unsung hero here. He kept The Pens in it, down 2-0 and when The Canucks took a 3-2 lead. Gotta keep it going in Seattle tomorrow night. I really love the grit and the heart this Pens team showed last night and especially with the injuries and all the rumors off the ice surrounding trade talk.
I gotta give props to The Canucks, you guys have a really good team out there with a lot of Pittsburgh ties both on and off the ice. Good luck to the rest of your season and in the postseason.
Who is teaching these guys that throwing the puck in front of your own net is an acceptable hockey play? A lot of brain dead plays in this game. That myers high stick is just about as dumb as it gets.
If they squeak into the playoffs remember this game – they made mistakes but overcame them – biggest win of the year! Whoever did the highlights kudos to you – well done!!!!
