The refs handed the Wild 4 straight 5 on 3s against the Canucks because Myers complained about the officiating the game previous. They're thin skinned, small and petty man-babies.
It's just so crazy that a max fine for a player is 5k but a coach is 5x that with way less salary in comparison, makes 0 sense

Steve using total penalty time when the leafs have the top powerplay in the league is a little disingenuous. I think their 29% powerplay scoring might be ending their opportunities a little early. What have the leafs been for powerplay opportunities over Keefe's tenure?

Let’s be honest Leaf fans. You know that your best shot at getting past the first and second rounds is either to win the division outright, or play in the Metropolitan bracket. If you finish second or third in the Atlantic, you are toast. Boston or “ WE WANT FLORIDA “ will eat you up. Playoffs is all about defence and solid goaltending and grit. All three which the Leafs historically lack in the playoffs. Flaring Nostrils Freddie Mercury look-a-like ( honestly, Matthews needs to ditch the wannabe moustache ) Matthews will get neutralized like he never does during the regular season. Marner will disappear as usual, Tavares will look lost, and Willy will pretend to be the complete player he is not. And with the schedule practically all Eastern conference teams from here on out, good luck winning the division !

So keefe thought it was clever to talk like an underworld thug? Not inspiring. Leadership involves inspiring discipline. Keefe doesn’t have it. Get rid of keefe and replace him with somebody who will use his words impeccably, inspirationally and motivationally, so as to supercharge players. The coach is the most important strategic, tactical piece on any team.

Leafs have had 50 fewer power play attempts than the league leaders thats less than 1 power play per game to current. but let's round it up to 1 power play extra a game.
Going based on their current PP% if the Leafs were given the same number of powerplays as the league leader it wouid result in 14 games where they would have scored 1 goal more.
Now its impossible to figure out wherther that makes a actual difference since theres no way to know which 14 games that the extra goal would have been from as you could argue that they could have been during a blowout win or loss.
But lets not forget thats based on having the same power play opportunities as the league leaders which is the extreme best case scenario.
Also a point to note is the Leafs are also the 31st ranked team in terms of Penalties taken so its not like the league is out to screw the Leafs with regard to officiating othwrwise they wouid be much higher in terms of penalties taken
