Jenner kneeing on Greig – Have your say!

Boone Jenner went knee on knee with Ridly Greig in the neutral zone. There was no call. Was this kneeing or was this just an attempted body check that ended up in accidental leg on leg contact? Have your say!

  1. Yes, it was kneeing. That said, it is almost impossible to spot this as a ref; a cross-up play from a turnover in the neutral zone. There's no way to see this. R1 is backing up while R2 is skating forward. Then, the play turns, and you have to adjust quickly. I wish you luck spotting this as a ref.

  2. Tough call? Seriously? Pucks nowhere near. Both players enter the same area. Greig isn’t looking at Jenner, sees him at the last split second, tries to avoid contact, and Jenner deliberately reaches out the leg and shoulder to hit him. A dangerous, dirty play by a guy who … well, a guy who knows dangerous and dirty play.
Greig is an agitator. But that shouldn’t mean he’s a free target the refs can turn a blind eye to.
