Let me know your thoughts on this trade….what else might the Leafs do? with double retention on this deal the cap hit is only 687K. Also I said Lyubushkin ended up with Ducks as UFA which is wrong. I forgot he signed with Sabres and was later traded to Ducks.

kinda wondering why the canes brokered this, but maybe they just don't plan to make a big move. if they're happy with their roster they don't have to, but i'd still be a bit nervous about the goaltending.
the 3rd is about as good as the ducks could expect here.
A solid stay at home D-man that won't score much but blocks a ton of shots and isn't afraid to finish checks. He should do well on the pk.
