  1. If Kempe isn’t out for the season and we can cap circumcision to bring Toffoli home……..

  2. ZiggyPalffyLA

    What a fun game!

Fiala with the best game of his season, and that’s saying a lot with how well he’s been playing.

Cam ends the game with a should-out and made the big saves when he needed to.

This season is far from over. Kempe might be back sooner than we think and if we can add a piece I still think we can make a run. Let the kids play! Go Kings Go!

  3. Surely we’ll continue playing this well for the rest of the year, *right?*

  4. sashachenko

Love the 11/7 combo. Glad we escaped this one without other injuries

  5. AdrianKempee

Clarke and Turc should be in every game for the rest of the season. Run the 11-7 if you have to every night, Jimbo

  6. kopitar-11

Turcotte should absolutely be a permanent addition to the team. He’s really looks great on the forecheck

  7. DIEHARDjr

If you didn’t watch the game tonight, take one for the team and don’t watch anymore this season plz and thx

  8. Thumper13

Great response after two tough loses. Onward and hopefully keep this type of play going. Oh, and never, EVER, take Clarke out. Please.

Byfield career high minutes, Brandt career high goals, Fiala closest he’s ever been to being a Dad, Doughty on a career goals pace. We’re firing on all cylinders and injured. Keep the momentum to the playoffs!

Going 11/7 seems to work well for us. I remember it was similar the game that Arviddson went down. Forwards play faster and more physical. Great forecheck and able to capitalize on rush chances. The kids are alright!

  11. The team is much more fun when they play like they did tonight.

  12. Hate to be negative after a win but I think a lot of the Kings success tonight was because Demko is tired. I do not think a playoff series against this Vancouver team would look anywhere near this good

If you told me the score would be 5-1, I’d believe it. But maybe not which team scored 5.

that one shift in the 2nd where we rotated in a new set of forwards and sustained o zone pressure for like 3 straight minutes was insanity. Truly unbelievable how we look utterly anemic against the flames and then pull that shit out. I still have hope for a deep playoff run. GKG

The young guys brought energy and it was infectious. Getting a real shot at the lineup can work wonders and is great for development. Champagne line reunite! If we can get healthy by playoffs, this will be one nasty team.

My only wish for the game was if Lewis could have got his goal. Then Toffoli would have to join us!

Looked like the boys from earlier in the season. Fiala was swinging his dad dick tonight

Being a Kings fan this season is like having a manic depressive girlfriend. Tonight….she was manic!!!

Seriously what a performance, they played a whole 60. Is that allowed? I’m pretty sure you can’t do that. Offense came out big tonight, D came out big, Talbot came out big. I’m FUCKING HERE for the Fialaissance.

I’ve watched a decent amount of vancouver this year and while they are definitely off their game right now, that was the first 60 minute game the kings have played in what feels like months. Best they’ve played in a while.

Byfield was unreal in this one and Turc fit in really well up top. Going 11-7 was pretty cool too. Byfield had a ton of ice time and Spence/Clarke got to be deployed in a bunch of different ways. Keep it up GKG.

Out with the 1-3-1 and in with the 11 and 7. New system is here boys lol

Suits! Clarke and Turc EVERY NIGHT! Thank you!

What a fuckin win boys, that’s what I’m talkin bout!

  22. probablysmellsmydog

Great game. Hopefully we can bring that that energy into the home stand because I have tickets to two games dammit and I demand satisfaction!

  23. ZiggyPalffyLA

Drew is so proud of the boys tonight, I love the energy from him in this interview.

  24. Great W. Even though we didn’t get a chance to go 2-1 on the western Canadian road trip.

  25. weinerwatersoups

The meltdown happening in the Canucks sub right now is delightful.

  26. abrahamisaninja

Dumb question, but what is 11-7?

Edit: You’re all very kind. Thanks for the answer. GKG

  27. Bohmoplata

Great win and great effort, but Vancouver looked off. Sloppy with the puck, especially on the break out.

  28. kkF6XRZQezTcYQehvybD

That Fiala goal was absolutely nasty

  29. kovacro_77

This team is so fuggin inconsistent. 😆

Take the two points and get out of town. Western Canada roadie is always a tough one regardless the calibre of the opposition.

  30. 11/7 might be the move going forward until we get back some guys from injury?

  31. henreiman

I’m a PLD supporter and have always said “let him adjust”. This isn’t the best line he’s working with.

But the greatest players find a way to produce and him not recording a point in a huge 5-1 win is concerning
