I like John Tavares however he is a 7 million dollar plare at this point. His 11 million is an albratross. We are stiuck with it for 1 more year. A lot of IR dead weight contracts come off the books end of 2024. Said this before, I would resign JT if he wishes as I like the guy but my max offer would be 2 years at 5.5. Not a penny more. Re address the issue after that 2 yrs expires. They must resign Marner.
