As a player he's been a star and winning big games. Now he's on a below par team that's rebuilding. Stop thinking you are single handly going to carry this team. It's a great time to learn how to be better defensively. And in 3 plus years through drafts then you can lead this team.
As a wings fan I hope the Blackhawks realize how lucky they are to have a kid like that. Use him and build around him good things will happen. Its not Toronto so you'll actually win cups.

Why do you think the Blackhawks got Bedard….they were at the bottom of the NHL last year…they aren’t going to improve much in one year. They tried getting better by getting some veterans, but that didn’t work out.
Bedard needs to tell owners to spend lots of money and get some players this trade dead line and off season. This kid deserves to have offensive players for him to really get going.

That should be a penalty for slashing! oh right the referees are blind. I don’t know why they let blind people call games. They are consciously and purposefully not call any penalty committed on Bedard. They are preventing him from getting the Calder Trophy but they won’t mind an American or European player getting the trophy. Bettman single-handedly rape hockey from Canadians. It is no longer enjoyable to watch hockey anymore! Bettman can go to hell!

Yes some of his team mates suck, yes the Hawks are in a rebuild and not designed to be ultra competitive, which would be annoying to him i'm sure, but he's got to chill out some times. He's 18 so I give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's just not a good look if you're CONSTANTLY crying on the bench.
I’m not a fan of bedard or the new generation of players in general. They are self centred and not good leaders like Crosby. They don’t have the humility and integrity to motivate a team, no leadership. The new generation only values individual talent but lacks a crucial aspect of leadership. He seems toxic on the bench breaking his stick… he deflates the dressing room…. Rookie Crosby MADE talented players want to come to Pittsburg to play… I don’t think bedard has that ora…. But also there are better cities to live/play in the Chicago… bedard should stop getting angry and bratty and accept he’s a talented player on a team that doesn’t win very often… there have been many players in his position in the past and they just roll with it… get a highlight goal once in a while , be funny and entertaining… laugh on the bench…. Bad teams can be fun which attracts fans … winning isn’t everything to a fan base… model yourself after zegras that guy found his niche …. He just has fun with it because that’s all he can do… he plays the chill talented guy role …. Do a Datsuk dangle on a breakaway once in a while get a high light reel goal and you’re good to go…. A Bad but fun team is still fun…. Don’t let your fans know you want a trade during your rookie season…. I wouldn’t pay to watch you melt down on the bench… that tells me you don’t want to be here and neither do I so I’ll spend my money elsewhere….Entertain the youth fans it’s easy…. You’re getting paid colossal money to play so just get tucked in….
