lattimores trade value in the saints eyes would prob be around the 21st pick of this draft (prob a late first and third gets it to this) and unless they get an offer like that, i dont see them just giving away a true shutdown corner that changes a defense single handedly. A duo of adebo and shon is the best cb tandem in the league and thats the only true elite aspect of this team. That contract was restructured to entertain/explore a trade but i dont see a trade happening for anything less.
We have all been reading between the lines though right? I mean Marshon restructured like this for a reason…the comments that they feel he should have been back earlier from injury…hell we heard the rumors at trade deadline last year…if they trade him then they need to be resigning yiadom or sure Taylor can play outside…then a defender who can play the slot becomes a priority
Top trade destinations for Marshon? I imagine whoever wants him would be a contender in their eyes….Ravens, 9ers, Lions, Bengals?
Nick you were fine with 18-19 drafts because the thought process behind it was that the roster was loaded back then and most of the picks wouldn’t have made the team. So it’s funny that you’re dogging them now for not having an abundance mindset in the draft. Obviously the context has been lost.
Also, can we start talking about the draft in the context: since DA became HC?? I know he’s enemy #1 for the fan base , but those weren’t his picks prior to 2022. Since he’s been the HC the players have been better imo.
Am I the only one that thinks this system would fit penning’s game better than carmichael’s system? When he was coming out athleticism was a big part of his scouting report.

Can we stop being so politically correct and just say the truth that MT is a team cancer and a horrible example to the younger receivers and that he has to go?
So basically don’t expect the Saints roster to improve this offseason
