  1. For now, I have Celebrini, Parekh, Demidov, Lindstrom and Buium as my top 5. It can change until end of season.

  2. Good job bro!
    If we pick around 6-7-8th
.. I don't think Lindstrom or Demidov will be available, but if they are I hope Price runs to the stage and mess up their name 😉
Not sure that Eiserman is the type of player the Habs want 🤔 so I think we'll end up with either Catton or Iginla.. I'm fine with both but Catton is the one I'd go with

  3. Eiserman is exactly what the Habs need in their prospect pool. I think his all round game will come around, just as Caufield has.

  4. Give us a report on Tomas Lavoie, if you can. Two years ago Habs passed on Tristan Luneau and Mavric Lamoureux a couple of times, and that led them to feel they needed Reinbacher in 2023. Pretty sure they'd trade Filip (The Mistake) Mesar for either LHJMQ defenseman in a heartbeat now, if they could.😢

  5. My prediction is that Habs will pick 6-8OA and will either pick the 4th forward of the draft or go for another RD.

If CHI/SJ go 1-2, Celibrini and a defenseman are taken.

Anaheim and Columbus at 3-4 will most likely pick forwards in Lindstrom and Demidov.

Arizona/Ottawa at 5-6 should go after defenseman. Ottawa in particular will go for a RD.

By the time the Habs pick at 7, they have a choice between Eiserman, Catton, etc. Maybe they go for a RD depending on who is available. Wouldn’t be sad with Parehk if Levshunov is gone by then.

If San Jose is picking #2 and is looking for a defenseman but not sold on a particular D, if I’m Hughes I overpay to trade up and grab Demidov. The Sharks have shown in the past they are willing to trade down in order to stockpile picks/prospects. Wonder if Habs’ 2024 1st, Cgy’s 2025 1rst, Cayden Primeau and Jayden Struble is enough. Add a condition if the 2025 pick becomes FLA’s 1rst, then Habs add their 2025 2nd round pick.

  6. My mock rn

    1. SJ – Celebrini
    2. CHI – Levshunov
    3. ANA – Silayev
    4. CBJ – Eiserman
    5. ARI – Demidov
    6. OTT – Dickinson
    7. MTL – Catton
    8. BUF – Lindstrom

  7. Whoever Montreal will pick from 5th to 10th, that prospect will likely be a better player than Reinbacher who could have been just a mid first round pick in the 2024 entry draft. So even though Montreal still pick another defenseman (Levshunov, Dickinson, Silayev, Yakemchuk or Parekh, it will still improve the team greatly. Indeed, Montreal has a good pool of defensemen but none of them can be considered as a genuine futur "top one" defenseman…Same thing for centers, Montreal still does not have that genuine elite 1C even if certain fans/media are harping that Suzuki is that 1C who would likely be just a very good 2C on most championship teams…Vegas would not have won the cup without Pietrangelo and Eichel !!!

  8. Very interesting to me you'd place Catton over Lindstrom who's stronger built, differently creative out of the blue zone, powerfully shoots, can resist hits and lay a few like almost no other forward in this draft not named Helenius or Brandsegg-Nygard while playing with a ton of energy and with surprisingly smooth hands for a kid his size. Your explanations made a lot of sense, loved it.

  9. About Eiserman – Am I wrong?
What I heard so far about him is that even his goalscoring ability isn't all that and comes from ways that might not totally translate to the NHL. Maybe all he has is a great shot?
Also hearing that he almost always shoots instead of passing and that he has very strong tendencies in the spots he targets when shooting.
Its great to hear he's working on his compete and defensive game though.

  10. If Montreal picks 6 or 7 …take the best player available even if it's a defenseman. I know forward is a need but if Buium or Dickinson is available take them because they are better than Catton or Iginla and I really like Iginla but Buium or Dickinson are definitely better players.

  11. Look around guys. Look at the winners. None of them are'small'
We already have too many 'smalls' and we need size to compete with them in the playoffs. No 'perimeters' no Catton no Zegras
    We need Size

  12. It's looking more and more like the Habs will draft top 5.
I want Demidov as well. Lidstrom will be gone because GM's loooove size.
    Caufield – Suzuki – Slaf
Trade RW – Dach – Demidov

Or we resign Monahan and go with:

    Caufield – Suzuki – Slaf
    Demidov – Monahan – Dach

    Looking good!

  13. We didn’t draft Michkov because of his reported extreme character flaws. When Arpon Basu asked the Habs scouts about Michkov last draft, they said “go watch Demidov”
