Like some people were already saying, this is probably just so he can ease his way back into the NHL after being away from the game for about a month. Of course, it’s not everyday you see a guy making 8 million a year placed on waivers, but I don’t know what team would want to take on his contract, even though there’s only 1 more year left on it.
And yeah, even though Kuzy has his upsides, I’m glad we didn’t try to get him in the offseason.
I think they should claim him
