  1. I've been hearing rumblings that Keller might be low key on the market…. Probably more of a summer move, but worth kicking the tires on

  2. If we're gonna make a move at the deadline the only one that makes sense to me is Pavel Bunchevich. I think he would look really good on our 2nd line with Raymond. Everything else, forget about it.

  3. There is only one problem with paying Sprong that kind of money. For some reason, he doesnt play outside of the 4th line nor does he play a lot of minutes. Its on purpose, i just dont know why. I also disagree that Ras is solidified on the top line. He just doesnt compliment skilled players on the top line. I think if u go with Raymon, Cat, Larkin, Compher, Kane, and another forward would work. Ras and Peron would be better on the bottom 6

  4. what is Detroit currently lacking this season to not be considered a team that can make a deep playoff run and contend for the cup? They got Showtime. In the playoffs it's showtime

  5. Rasmus Andersson is a great trade target, other than Seider the Red Wings only have Petry and Holl for right handed defenseman

  6. I’d honestly prefer to keep Fischer over Perron tbh. I really like what Fischer brings to the 4th line and from what I’ve seen on broadcast, the energy he brings to the locker room. Fabbri is definitely expendable this off-season. With the Griffins looking like a LEGITIMATE Calder Cup threat, I think Yzerman will keep the prospects in GR for this season. Yeah the wings are the top priority but Yzerman mentioned he wants to let the prospects develop chemistry in GR, I can see him keeping everyone there for a cup run of their own. This off-season is where things will get REAL interesting and I’d be surprised if both Berggren and AlJo are both in the organization come next season

  7. This team is to small and lacks physicality for playoff hockey. Even if they make it, they won’t go on a deep run because Playoff hockey is a different animal. If they do anything at the deadline, it should be adding physicality.

  8. Please don't extend Perron. Perron has been good for the wings, but he is holding up a spot for another guy that is ready to come up. The only way i see this as fine if he takes a vet minimum contract and plays on a lower line which i dont see happening. Package him with someone else for an upgrade on the back end.

  9. I hear what you both are saying, but I don't like either of the options you list here, since he is ELIT on the things he does lol. The best thing for all parties is to go the middle way "best of the best of worlds" that he remains in the organization as staff and can transfer his enormous experience to the next generation e.i Kasper and Mazur. This is what the Sedin's do in Van at the moment e.i.

The problem, however is that he actually has a few short years around two left in his body at this level. So it's likely that he could conceivably go at TDL to try to win the Cup again, he only has one M-NTC (10 teams). The question is which contender is willing to shop him and which card should he bet on!

  10. Keep Perron or extend him a a year at least for lower dollars, you cannot replace what he brings with a trade or a Mazer as awesome as Mazer is. Perron is currently the heart of the wings locker room, it was him that yelled at the boys and said we are getting 18 points to finish out the year for the dreadful December. He motivates the club, Kane is an adrenaline shot they needed. You do not move Perron unless he asks! Im telling you now based on experience and running a business with a team environment that if you remove the heart, the glue from the situation your group falls apart quickly.

  11. The Pens still feel they have playoff aspirations. Trading Guentzel to one of the 2 teams you'd have to catch makes zero sense.
