sammy so dialed in mentally. even on the shoot out where he is usually weak he didn't bite to fast like he always used to. He is LEVELING UP! Sammy will be elite one day. Hes good now.

Keefe would've liked to expand on the play on Bush being suspendable but it's Parros and New York and against the Leafs, so we know where that is going. How frustrating. So unjust.
Awesome game tonight, both teams played exceptionally well. I was also impressed with the fight and how they respect each other. It would be nice to see them face off against each other in the playoffs
So… with all the money the Leafs organisation makes… why can't they get the sound right in the post game interviews??? I can never hear what the media questions are. Just gotta infer what they've asked from the responses… seems kinda naff to me…

Poor Keefe. You can tell he wants to say so much more about the Rempe charge, but given the media driven "narrative" that he's a meany to refs and he's gaining a rep (despite empirical evidence showing how ridiculous the calls against the Leafs, or in favour of the Leafs, are), he's gotta keep it Xanax for the next while.
That shootout goal by Marner seemed kinda borderline, but I'm not going to complain about the Leafs coming out on the right side of a call!
Good for Samsonov. I really doubted him today. I'm glad he proved me wrong and showed up and won his first shootout of the season
I think Keefe is the best coach available for this style of team. When Berube was coach of St Louis, he had a good strong D core. Leafs can't replicate that. But I also think Keefe shuffles too much sometimes and chokes in playoffs vs other coaches. Idk I think if Keefe was to be fired you also have to think of the roster and what type of coach would fit them best. Berube may not be the best. Imagine a defense first coach with Toronto. Offense can't run how they would and defense wouldn't be up to par. Maybe give Guy Boucher a chance

The best thing Coach said was defence. You need that in the playoffs. You need your centres hustling and coming back and helping. If the centre can't you assign that job to a fast winger.
