Mika has been rough but Christ Kreider has 30 goals it’s not like he’s been completely invisible, one loss against a top team and the sky is falling again. Y’all are insufferable

The same shit happened under GG. When mika and kreids are asked to play over 20 mins per game for an extended period, they get gassed and their play suffers. Over the past 12 or so games Lavy simply played them too much.
On a related note, I’m happy to see Edstrom and Rempe towards the top of the scorecard. Hopefully their strong play gets them en extra minute or two per game.
Lastly it’s wonderful to see Laffy succeed and blossom into a dominant player. Just wish lavy could have gotten him more minutes.

Enough with grouping Kreider in with Zibanejad. Kreider is going to end the season with 40 goals. Kreider is going to be clutch in the playoffs, AGAIN, like he always is. Kreider’s number is literally going to be in the rafters of MSG when he retires.
And Kreider makes $2m less than Zibanejad does.
They’re not close to the same. They should be split up but let’s stop pretending that Kreider is in any way an equal problem

There’s a month and a half to figure this out. We are right where we were a year ago when it was on GG to figure out what the line combos for the playoffs would be and all he did was the blender. Lav needs to mix things up even if it means paying with some losses to find the right line combos for the playoffs. Not opposed to flipping the top 2 winger combos for a game.

Being realistic isn’t a doomer. There are too many fanboys who think everything should be sunshine and rainbows ……. We haven’t won since 94 and it was 54 years before that…… some of us would like to see another cup before we die. It’s a top teir sports franchise with one of the best fanbases in the world, they owe fielding a winning team.
They have about 20 games to get as hot as possible for the playoffs….. that’s all that matters. The panthers got hot last year and exactly the right time and went from completely out of the playoffs to the finals until injuries became too much.
Not shaking up the lines and doing something about have a first line that is non existent in the game is absurd. Now is the time to do something. I personally don’t think the rangers should make a trade btw…… outside of veterano I am not sure anyone else available is remotely worth it. To get anyone we will have to sell the farm, prospects and picks, and it just seems totally not worth it, especially if the guy turns out to be a rental.
I personally would keep Laf where he is and leave Kakko with the first line. This is why he was drafted, put up or shut up. I personally don’t think he will do a thing, but you have to dance with the girl you brought and we are paying Mika and Krieder to lead this team and Kakko was drafted to be a stud …. I have been impressed with Lav so far as a coach when it has come to in game strategy……. Now let’s see what he can do with personnel and managing players
