Did NHL officials have enough evidence to overturn Alex Kerfoot’s goal for the Coyotes vs. Colorado?



At 15:47 of the third period on Sunday, officials overturned Alex Kerfoot’s goal for the Coyotes, ruling that he had entered the zone before the puck, which was in the air. But none of the replay angles shown on TV proved this conclusively. Did officials err in overturning the goal?

  1. I think all the refs need a refresher course and a good stern talking to by Bettman about bad calls which there has been a ton of lately in the league

  2. My only thought was that maybe they did use the chip in the puck to determine it somehow. It definitely was close but 100% positive that they did not find conclusive evidence from just video review!
