  1. Oh shit I totally forgot about Alex weinberg he was my favorite journeyman up and comer we had, and I was not surprised the kraken took him. He fit better than Franky, I want him back on our team so bad. He will out work any top line from the first period to the thrid it if necessary. Dump cousins for Alex to come back!

  2. The thought of trading Lundell, Knight, Samoskevich, and a 2nd like you mentioned would be a nightmare if it became reality. Those are 3 future impactful players for something that complicates our short term and may not even work out. Overall, I agree with what you said in this video. In theory, it would be awesome to have both Matthew and Brady on the team, but I don't think it works out that well in reality.

  3. One tkachuk is more than enough. I don’t see a scenario where Brady and Matthew will work on the same team.

  4. I don’t get why we’re so obsessed with getting another big star at the trade deadline. Did we not learn as fans from the time we went head over heels for Claude Giroux and Ben Chairot? The team we have I phenomenal there is literally zero need to touch it. Chemistry is just as big a factor as the talent on the team. I don’t want to touch the team at all.

  5. Montembeault would look good if he had a team around him. Levi had a team around him the same one that almost raced in for a wild card spot and they collapsed and basically tanked his production after coming up Levi and Knight being similar

  6. This may be unpopular… but I feel like Reinhart is a flash in the pan. He's nowhere near the scoring talent that Carter is

  7. Long shot but if you can throw Cousins, Montour, and a pick to get Brady, I’d do it… but is it the smartest thing to do? Maybe not

  8. Jaws you make since on Brady Tkachuk. So the question for those wanted Brady why? Now we will be seeing those brothers on a same Tom for the Olympics . No the other question is what about 2to3 years to get him. So is it now or later. I say later.

  9. NO. Why,?.. I don't think his ego would fit into the Cats team chemistry.

Great win tonight! Yes, commenting before the Nucks game. LFG MEOW MEOWS!

  10. OMG You read my mind when I saw Ottawa was selling….. about Brady. I think we should go for it… but not now. Maybe it's something to consider but I dunno that he fits what we do. The chemistry with his brother could be unreal…. unless they don't like each other. ANYWYAS, I think Bill Zito needs to stand pat at the deadline – no major changes unless its a depth piece slotted down in the bottom 6. We don't need to get worse defensively – Reinhart plays on the PK as well and is MUCH more defensively sound than Brady.

  11. As cool as it would be to see the brothers together I think it’s more likely to see Brady go to the blues or the blackhawks teams that need Brady and have first round pricks to trade

  12. Y'all need to stop thinking about what you can dump and start thinking what the other team would want from you for the player. And while Brady would definitely want to go to Florida and the Sens might consider selling him, he's not in Matthew's situation; he's got four more years on his deal.
So it starts with what Ottawa wants, and Ottawa would want at least the same return Calgary got. Ottawa wants an RD. Barring Ekblad's departure, that's Montour. (If the deal is to be done in the summer, that'd require an extension.) Then it's someone to the left wing to replace Brady, that's Verhaeghe or Luostarinen, and Ottawa would be making the choice there. Likely Verhaeghe, since the cap would also need to work. Then what, a prospect, and in lieu of first-rounders, a top one. Samoskevich may work. Or he may not. Let's put him in anyways. And then, a second (maybe two) or a distant first. So that's about the package.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm worried this is gonna do exactly what I was worried about after the Matthew trade: it's gonna make the squad so top-heavy and disbalanced that one or two good lines weren't gonna do it anymore. Think the Leafs, not as soft, but with an even worse depth. Either way, I'm just not sure at all the Panthers have what Ottawa would want from that deal in the first place.

  13. This will be a summer move for sure! As of right now, trading anyone off this team would be pretty silly. But let’s say this offseason Brady put in his walking papers and Matt went to Zito and told/ask him hey my bro wants to come here. The struggle of who stays and goes would be very interesting and hurtful.

As much as I would love to see Brady here, it’s a more of a fantasy than a possibility honestly speaking.

  14. What if we could get Brady for nothing?
It's happened before, Hörnqvist for Matheson for example
