   What does Tochett have against Aman? I thought he was playing pretty solidly now he’s getting constantly healthy scratched in favour of AHL players.

   I’m definitely rooting for Podz tonight. I get that he hasn’t exactly been blowing up the A but at least he knows a bunch of the guys and is used to NHL level hockey.

   Podz has gotta play hard. Period.

   If he’s out there and we see the smoke billowing out from between his ears, then at this point I’m on board with trading him.

   If he can shut his brain off and just flow, play like he can, drive the net, lay the body, then I’ll be ready to call the demotion a rousing success.

   Would be huge for us if he could occupy a bottom 6 spot for the next couple of years.

    This screams showcase. They didn’t do this with Bains. They’re tossing Podkolzin into the fire. It’s quite abrupt, almost like a hasty decision. The trade deadline in my mind being the only thing that could warrant such a quick decision.
