We’ve only really complained about 3 things on this list: Injuries, Blashill, and the refs. The injuries one really has hurt our team, so it’s a legit excuse IMO.
I’m also surprised that THG didn’t include “no puck luck” as an excuse, because we’ve been dealt some bad hands from the hockey gods with how many posts and ridiculous saves the backup goalies have had against us.

Really glad that the “Fire Cooper” crowd remains insignificantly small. The number of fanbases that want their coaches gone after one rough season (even a rough stretch of games) is insane.

I agree with this list and don’t really put too much stock in the arguments that use these excuses. The refs suck chant is *usually* always misplaced. The bettman or league or scripted blame is pure delusion.
That said, it is ok to be critical of all aspects of the game and the team’s performance. It’s not good to be unreasonably defensive against criticism; and sometimes a complaint is warranted and not just an excuse.
