On meillä: the Eeli Tolvanen goal song makes its Seattle debut

I had no idea until this past week that Eeli Tolvanen has his own theme song… then I saw this:

Taken from a Finnish comedy show called “Villi Kortti”, actor Mikko Toyssy took on the persona of rabid Finnish hockey fans by singing the following song, a parody of the [1970s Finnish song “Dirlanda”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zHxcxZ7Qjc). At the time of the show’s airing, 18-year-old Eeli Tolvanen was starting to have an awesome 2018 Olympic tournament and had just put up 4 points (1g 3a) in Finland’s 5-2 win over Germany.

The song spread quickly through the Kraken Twitterverse and eventually Benny Drawbars got ahold of it. Ahead of the Pittsburgh game on 2/29 he hinted that he was putting it into his rotation but just needed the right moment. Lo and behold 3/2 vs. Edmonton, Tolvy scored in the 3rd period to get the Kraken on the board, and Benny let it fly!
