Check out this in depth look at Kevin Lankinen & Juuse Saros from their NHL warmup against the Dallas Stars on 1/6/24. Lankinen gets the start here. He started his career in Lefevre built CCM pads, but first entered the NHL in Vaughn gear. After the IIHF 2019 tournament, he switched back to Lefevre built CCM’s and is still in Lefevre built gear to today. He is in True PX3 pads, glove and blocker and wears his pads ultra loose. 590 break on the glove, Vaughn Ventus pants and a pro’s choice mask round out his setup. Saros has always been in Lefevre built gear dating back to his time in Reebok P4. Now, he is rocking his sport gold PX3 set, also with a 590 break on the glove. Note, his pads do have a super tight fit leg channel and no velcro on the outside calf. He is also in CCM sticks, Vaughn pants and a Pro’s Choice lid. Interesting note, he is in a CCM Pro chest with Kenesky arms. I absolutely love his painted one piece skates.
