To be honest I think this specific post is kind of hilarious. He never misses a chance, though.

    Is he wrong? Probably not

Should he be saying this? No

He never misses an opportunity to take a pop at our fans which is hilarious ever since his little meltdown when Jarmo got fired. Glaringly obvious Mr. Kekalainen was keeping him in the loop.

I just think it’s a bit funny hearing him tell others to act like adults. Pot? Kettle?

‪”The best time to look for a job, is when you have a job.” Seems like he could use this advice. ‬

Funny coming from a guy who couldn’t do basic children’s math to project the points pace CBJ were on in the last week

If he hates writing for fans of this team so much, he’s certainly more than welcome to find a job

  7. i just want to win games bro what are we doing here

Can we get some media members that aren’t clowns

I’m 23 almost but if I shave my beard I look 15. Think I could participate?

Honest to god, i don’t know how the Dispatch employs this guy.

It’s like he’s trying to be as unlikeable as possible at this rate. It has to be. I wish he’d go back to working for the Blackhawks. It already feels like he does too with often he randomly tweets about them

I think it’s funny that both the Blue Jackets and Reds have a former Chicago writer that writes for the big city paper who loves to rile up the Twitter fanbase (and also generally have iffy takes)

I literally called him stupid to his twitter face the day of the Jarmo firing because he didn’t understand when I quoted Shakespeare at him. Didn’t get blocked, though, so hey.

(it was a good quote, too. from Antony’s eulogy of Caesar)

  14. I overall get where Hedger is coming from. He’s trying to point out that it’s not the end of the world as a CBJ fan but his positive nature comes off as a bit boot-lick-y when there has been an inconsistent and unclear vision of what we all should expect. Is the team rebuilding? Is the team competitive enough to make the playoffs? The past three years they have done everything to contradict either of the directions or expectations and, at the end of the day, fans are just tired for the team sucking.

He should keep doing what he’s doing but also deal out the completely appropriate level of criticism towards, FA signings, prospect development, coaching hires, supposed privately acknowledged rebuild without saying it, injury issues, etc.
