His whole damn night made me so damn happy. Novy!!!
Joy.
PRAISE HOCKEY JESUS!
Absolute steal
Edit: made a trip to the hockey reddit thread one time just for everyone to debate with me that Novy isn’t a 60 point player and rather a 55 point one. Is it that serious lmao. Maybe I should just stay here
Big win. Love the contract
Good deal for both sides
This is a fantastic contract
My guess was 3x$3.5 so this is a steal.
ETA: I meant 4x$3.5 lol
Let’s go! Amazing contract. Fantastic for both Novy and the Preds. Now I can stop seeing those stupid ass comments like “future Oiler” or “future Ranger” in the replies on Twitter lol.
Damn that’s a steal. Give that boy incentives
Great contract 🔥
Oh boy I love me some good contract!! What a steal
Really good deal
Great contract holy shit
Holy fuck that is cheap. Even if he never gets any better than he is today that’s great value.
He deserves it and quite team friendly. What a guy.
Woo hoo!!! The best news
Oh let’s go baby, Novechkin is here to stay
This also gives Novak an opportunity for another UFA contract after this so he can cash in if he proves he can be consistent.
Looks like a great contract for the Team at this point
brb, getting that Novak swag.
About time 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Wow, I was hoping they could keep him for under 4m but figured it’d be 1 or 2 yr “prove it” extension. Getting him signed @ 3.5m for 3 is hot. Still gives him the shot for huge money, but incredible term for Preds too if he keeps scoring like he is right now.
Pretty much exactly the deal I was hoping for. Well-deserved!
Wow, did not think we would get him that cheap. I was expecting a $4.5m AAV deal at least.
I was reading some analytic site saying the expected AAV was 4.7 so this is definitely great deal. Solid bit of business by Trotz here.
Tree fiddy? Sounds awfully like a creature from the Cretaceous period.
