Wasn't Chelios with the Wolves/Thrashers in 2010? Could that trade back to the Blackhawks have been in 2009 when the hawks lost in the Conference final?
2024-25 Blackhawk rookies: Frank Nazar, drew commesso, Coltan Dach, maybe Nolan Allan and eathan del mastro.
2025-26 Blackhawk rookies: Oliver Moore, del mastro or Allan if not already, Sam Rinzel,
2026-27 Blackhawk rookies: Adam Gajan. And he dominates

Sorry guys, NOT buying into the Hawks management propaganda for not bringing back Kane. There's nobody better to mentor Bedard. So what if itself still Kane's team? If anything that would take some pressure off Bedard. I know the NHL wants Bedard to be the bew face of the league, but sheesh! The kid blows his nose and the headline is, "Bedard just did something Gretzky, McDavid, and Crosby have done"
Also, has anyone asked Richardson why Foligno is not on the Bedarrd line???? Too much scoring??? Beuvillier has done nothing
Greg can you make a point about Patrick Kane without being ANGRY? Please. Can the team also acknowledge that there are no guarantees with a rebuild even when you get lucky in a lottery? For every Colorado there’s also a Buffalo. (And didn’t Colorado hold on to Landeskog and tear down / rebuild?)
Nice to know I'm not the only one who enjoyed watching Bedard plaster Kane into the boards. The histrionics on social media over that hit have been absurd. Just because Kane is a Blackhawks "legend," that doesn't make him untouchable, especially considering that he is no longer a Blackhawk. He's fair game. Good on Connor for playing for his team to win, and not catering to sentimentality. Just when I thought I couldn't love that kid more… Been a fan since the 1960s, and I'd much rather watch Bedard's career develop than relive the glory days. At some point, you gotta move on. No better time than now when the whole team is starting new.

Hard to get too upset at the Hawks this season, knowing they're not built to do much until the reinforcements start arriving over the next 2-3 years. You guys mentioned Celebrini, who may not be a Bedard (who is?), but if he can put up Toews-in-his-prime-type numbers, nobody will complain! Or they fall in the draft lottery and take goal scoring machine Cole Eiserman. Either way, Bedard gets help, which isn't a bad thing. The 2026 Blackhawks might be a very interesting team!
Complete agree Seth Jones is one of our best players. Disagree about the potential pass to Bedard in OT getting defended. He had them fooled but took the chance to win it and unfortunately it didn't go in. Doesn't mean the Bedard play wasn't there when it was.
The anti Jones crowd reminds me of the anti Brian Campbell crowd. And Campbell was so good as a Hawk hes now working closely with the team. Jay is right. A lot of fans dont even watch games. And rhats true of every team. There are idiot fans of every team.

In terms of prospects, Hawks fans have every reason to be excited for guys like Nazar and Moore. Those two are going to be key pieces to this team for a long time once they join.
