Trade already in the works with a healthy scratch included.

A decent depth piece, but will need a good right winger still if it happens.

Henrique off the table. Vatrano still on the table
Formisonic
Cheap option that still upgrades on Brodz. I’m fine with it at a speculatively low cost.

Think he’s a solid fit on that 3rd line. They are already tough to play against and I wouldn’t exactly call Brod a defensive stalwart.
If he can be a good penalty killer that could lighten the load for Zib and Kreider. Might have some upstream effects where we can have both top lines producing well and then the 3rd line can just be a pest.

Also, looks like Colorado is the other contender barring a Mystery Team popping up. Seattle trying to find the best solution for the team and the player, scratched out of precaution today.

I failed to see how this guy is going to bring us a cup. Is he going to score 5v5 with Mika and Kreider?

Doesn’t move the needle imo

I’m not sure he is any worse than Henrique and seems like he will cost less. Solid addition as a 3rd line center who can play PK
Zero-jiggler
He’s a much better player than people here think. Would be extremely happy if this goes through.

One thing to take as a massive grain of salt. None of this is being leaked from the NYR this is all being leaked from Seattle. It could very well be a strategy to increase the price of Wennberg who they are going to trade.
This goes for pretty much every trade deadline discussion for the next week. Drury and the Rangers play their cards very close to their chest. A lot of what we hear about them is speculation based on stuff from other teams
That concludes my ted talk

If they get a center who is scratched, Goodrow or Brodz? or does one move to wing

None of these trades make sense anymore. I’d rather keep the FRP, resign Kakko, and add to what we have via Hartford.

Wennberg is kinda mid if not low mid but his handsome per 60 is through the roof.
