The Canucks have themselves a SECRET WEAPON on their hands…

The Vancouver Canucks beat the Anaheim Ducks 2-1, Hoglander, Zadorov and Quinn Hughes were great! Same with Vasili Podkolzin who made his season debut and could be someone the canucks could use down the stretch and in the NHL playoffs!

  1. no easy games in this league anymore. greenway would add some snarl. seeler would give some size and depth to the d.

  2. i am not convinced about podkolzin.. i certainly wouldnt call him a secret weapon.. he has player quite a few games in the n.h.l. and i am convinced he is not atheltic enough to stick in the n.h.l. my opinon and i know hockey

  3. As per; I wonder if the move to demote Kuznetsov was for the purpose of trading him to a team that wants to take a crack at him, without initially absorbing the salary cap hit? He can be traded now, and report directly to any team's minor league affiliate, and then be recalled for the playoffs AND, AT NO COST to the salary cap!! (What a RIDICULOUS system The NHL has in place); but, as it is what it is, WHY NOT trade him for some assets to a contender? Helps Washington, assuming they're done with him, and doesn't hurt ANY team acquiring him, but could pay great dividends, as at least a depth forward in the playoffs, and with any spark of his old game at all, could be a great bonus to a contender that doesn't need to recall him until the playoffs begin! ??? Canucks?

  4. He's always been the hardest for checker I don't get how the system didn't see this in him. 😢 pod and hog deadliest forcheck in the nhl

  5. So much stood out but one was how he whipped his stick to hound defenders. He could get like 3 or 4 cracks in a second. Not sure I’ve ever seen that before. That could evolve into an elite forecheck/backcheck. Really hope they don’t give up on this guy.

  6. Hope the canucks can trade for toffoli, that would give them a 2nd blade to have any line be a 1 2 punch in the face for any opposition defence

  7. The canucks owned them this game, the nucks need to play hard against LA and win by a goal or 2. Then play hard and fast vs vegas

  8. I'd rather have a close games like this than ones that end up with a lopsided scoring like what we saw against Minnesota.

  9. I’m pretty sure vasily will be up the rest of the year. I believe he would have to go through waivers if they wanted to send him down

  10. Dostal is 10x better than Gibson. Gibson has no heart for whatever reason. Dostal changes the whole chemistry of that team.

  11. That was a really pretty win. They ground out a 2-1 victory and they looked like they were in control all game. This is the kind of goal tending you can expect in the stretch drive as every team is playing playoff type hockey. The teams out of it want to be spoilers, and the wild card hopefuls are playing for their playoff lives, and the playoff teams are playing their asses of to get home ice advantage. That is why this game was contested. That is a really big win against an opponent that they should beat. Love the stretch drive games, all of a sudden ever game means something for both teams. The L.A. game tomorrow night should be a dandy.

  12. Does anyone notice how Garland takes a lot of his shots? He usually lines his stick up with his leg and sometimes goes down on one knee.

  13. Legend has it that if I say my favorite YouTube's name 3 times then I'll get a pin. DeanerHD DeanerHD DeanerHD Please, maybe 🙏

  14. Podkolzin can contribute so much more to the team than guys like Mikheyev or Aman. I hope he stays up the rest of the year.
