thinking back to one of the most crushing non-elimination playoff losses in franchise history?
I was not happy that day. After losing 2001 game 6 at home, I was near suicidal that day lol

Game 1 was my wedding day. lol. My buddies and I were at listening to the game in the limo and then hit the bar during cocktail hour to watch the end of the game.

Was that the 1-0 win or the 5-2 win? Edit: neither. I figured out that was game 6, not game 3.

I went to Game 5 against the Bruins that season. Fun time.

Went to the Devils vs Tampa Game 3 in 2018….stadium was electric won 5-2. Great times.

That’s literally the only home game they lost that entire cup run, my guy π but I get the sentiment. The 12-1 home record was ridiculous. Btw, I got to Rd 2, Gm5 (Marshall in 3OT) & Gm 2 SCF. Fun nights.

I too miss when there was more airline competition. #continentalairlines

That was the game we lost and let Ottawa tie the series at 3-3 after being up 3 games to 1 & were on the verge of collapsing in the ECF, after doing the opposite, ourselves, and beating Philthy 3 years earlier after being down 3-1 in that series. Thank God we didnβt fold like Philthy though and won the Game 7 in Ottawa to avoid that humiliation
On a side note, immediately after game 4 the previous Saturday night to this game stub at the Meadowlands and falling behind 3-1 in the series, instead of flying back home to Ottawa immediately after the game, their very pissed off coach Jacques Martin diverted their team bus for an angry forced practice bag skate at Floyd Hall Arena at Montclair State late that night around midnight. They kicked off my idiot NYR fan friends and everyone else on the ice at open hockey off the ice early so the Sens could practice at a closed facility in private. Whatever happened worked a little bit because they won 2 in a row after this after inserting a very young Jason Spezza into the lineup. But Iβm glad my NYR fan friends got to suffer a little bit. Thatβs always priceless.
