I dunno about enforcers. My team's captain and top 6 forward, pounded on Reeves head. Also I would add, he has skill and character Reeves couldn't possibly fathom, as he is not a top 6. Give me a talented power forward any day of the week.

Reavo asked him to go in the first period and was turned down. Reaves has played over 950 games, he knows his job Nick. The Leafs had their own big guy in Curtis Douglas who can fight better but was sent to the desert instead of developing him.

Right on Kipper. Reaves should have been there, right there. Another thing having a tough guy does D–k when some one is run and the other four guys skate to the bench. One guy who likes to fight doesn't make a team tough. As a matter of fact you know what happens Kipper. If Reaves gets challenged early and maybe twice. Then the other team that might be tougher get in ever bodies face and the guys who don't fight are running away, or getting a licking. If you don't all stand up its not much better with one fighter.

Reeves is definitely a good fighter enforcer we all know that. He proved it by out punching Rempe and landing more. Thing is Rempe is a big new kid on the block, seeing him go up against 3 different fighters Olivier, Reeves 3rd guy another dude forgot his name..

Rempe was already banged up enough when Reaves wanted to fight him. Just cause Reaves sits on the bench all the time, don't take advantage of other tough guys constantly getting into fights. But yet again that is all he is good for. Rempe doesn't want to end up like Derek Boogaard one day.
