I want Chevy to add but I don’t think he will add anything else I would love a middle six winger and a D men to move pionk to the 3rd line but I feel that Chevy won’t add any more other than monahan
I think you can make Ehlers stay, by creating a better second line going forward. That involves keeping Monohan and adding the piece that will make it pop abd become dominant. And keeping that piece. Difficult but we have some trade chips. Mcgroarty is however untouchable.
Maybe Bones is protecting him for the playoffs and then allowing him to shine and prove that the Jets truly understand his skill level. Everyone should remember what happened to him just prior to playoffs, he was taken out of the playoffs by Minnesota and the results were plainly visible what happens to the Jets without Ehlers ❤🙏
Tbh I would rather face the Avalanche in rd 1 over Dallas or Nashville. Avs are fragile.

Management needs to stop showing partiality towards certain players. I blame management not the coach, because coach Maurice was forced to make bone head line decisions before quitting and then consistently taking Florida to number one. Ehlers does one little thing and right away he is demoted. Yet Connor can do no wrong no matter how bad he plays, and no matter how many defensive lapses he has.
When Vilardi gets healthy, Ehlers and Vilardi need to be on the top line with Scheifle and Connor needs to be on the second line. It doesn't matter who's feelings get hurt!

Keep in mind too one of the reasons why our offense is down is because of the system we play. On paper we have 6 20 plus goal scorers.
