Cossa and Augustine both listed I’d personally have both up a few spots but I am biased. The main takeaway is that we have two goalie prospects to be excited about. They both play different styles and could be an interesting future tandem.

It is kinda intersting the Wings have a tall 6’6 guy in Cossa and short for a modern goalie, 6’1 in Augustine.
Augustine appears to be more of a sure thing and has winning credentials Cossa can’t match but as always Cossa has the intangibles people love but can he put it together?

Both ranked as tier 2
Cossa at 7 Augustine at 8

I am surprised Levi isn’t #1 and Knight is higher as they both have quality NHL starts. Although I dislike NHL talent being listed on these lists.
I am not sure how much Askarov’s stats are reflective of the juggernaut Milwaukee is this year. Same could almost be said of Cossa, though I think in the last couple months, he’s been one of, if not the best goalie in the A, and the reason the Griffs have pulled into a playoff spot. He slots in at 2 if we drop Levi and Knight, just behind Wallstedt.
Really excited for Trey to get reps in the A in the near future.

I have relinquished the Wheeler throne. 🙂
A little surprised to have Cossa at 7 and Wallstedt at 1. That gap feels closer to me but there’s a lot more predictability with Wallstedt and that goes a long way for goalies even if the ceiling is more in question. But feelers assessment is not far off of what many have said about Cossa since the beginning, huge ceiling, but probably low floor, too, if the athletic system doesn’t translate into consistency. Looks like he’s on the right track, but there have always been a range of potential outcomes and we knew that when drafting him. I remain pretty optimistic though.
Not a total surprise to have Levi, wolf, and Knight in there so highly given that they’ve all shown themselves (albeit only a small amount) at the NHL level.
Curious to see how these goalie ranks start to play out over time, as Wheeler has openly admitted in the past that he isn’t really much for goalie projecting. Need to get our boy Kevin Woodley on the case again and see how he ranks the prospects. That’s it, appreciate wheeler drilling into all these guys, it’s good to have the perspective.
