Alex Wennberg is not at morning skate today. The beginning of the end? Tampa has had multiple scouts at the last couple of games. I’ve been wondering if he’s getting shipped off there.

interesting; he seems to be the one guy that whenever asked is not completely committed to the Kraken. I like the guy and he’s definitely a plus for the organization, but if he gets us a nice pick and Wright gets to play a bit, I’m in favour of it
I hope this means his wife is having their baby and not a trade happening 😩 he hasn’t missed a game this season, and I don’t think he missed one last season either.

I like Wennberg but we need to make space forever the young guns on this team. Whatever picks we could get for Wennberg, Schultz, and Tatar I would take. Load up on draft capital. Resign Eberle he should be the captain of the team.
Any word on if Yamamoto will play tonight? I’m going to the game tonight and want to wear my Yamamoto Oilers jersey with the nameplate in Kanji. I’ve never worn it to a game before, and it’s a perfect opportunity to wear it but will be upset if he’s scratched!
Yet another game worn jersey I have from a former Kraken player. Saw it coming and is the right move but still stings a bit.
I’ve only been watching hockey and following the Kraken as my team for three months now, so I’ve only known the roster as it is as the unit that makes up the Kraken. So I still don’t understand entirely how trades, the deadline, and draft picks work, but it’s kinda sad to see a piece removed from that unit.
Well, my last game, seeing him in uniform was the Penguins where he had one goal and one assist. So at least I got to see him go out in style

Wennberg was the first star at my first Kraken game. The last time I watched him play was vs. Penguins and cheered for his goal/100 points as Kraken. Good memories from the beginning to the end. Good luck Wenny and his family.
