I think Veleno can do a decent job at the top of the line up. He’s got the speed and is hard working. He’s deserved a chance and come a long way. Hopefully this works out.

As someone that said Veleno would break out this season I’m semi right, he’s earned a role on this team unlike last seasons role.
Let’s see if his brain can keep up with his feet

What are y’all taking about his chance? He’s already had to be a 1c this year due to Larkin being out. And if I’m being honest he gave it 110% on the eye test. He busted his balls. This isn’t a chance. This is verification that he can pull his weight.

I really hope he can step up to the challenge this time. I love Joe but didn’t think he was quite cut out for top 6 center duties last time he got a chance in December. I feel like his game has grown since then though
