  1. Nice to see our front office not beat around the bush.

Now trade Lindgren and Dowd so we can really start tanking.

  2. StevenGlanzberg

With a few days left til deadline, this should mean we got the return we wanted. Refreshing waiting to see…

This is fantastic…smart of GMBM to sell high here. Curious about the return. Now it’s time to ship off other spare parts and get some picks back in return.

Please at least a second round pick here.

Weirdly sad to see him go. His tenure in all was really bad but he was so much fun to watch this year. Great human and wish nothing but the best for him.

  5. Are non first rounders that valuable in the NHL? I don’t follow as closely but seems more like the MLB than the NFL/NBA

Edit: not sure why I’m getting downvoted it was a genuine question not a criticism

I suppose there are worse places to have to live than a warm climate with no state income taxes. Wish they’d hold off on reporting until we know the full trade, but they gotta get their clicks

Perfect time to sell high , Mantha is having a career year he won’t do this good again

It’s likely we’re getting a first for him. If not, a 2nd and a prospect or two

    Was expecting a bit more. I expected a 2nd + a conditional 3rd that becomes a 2nd. To get a distant low 4th isn’t going to knock anyone’s socks off.

Obviously this is good value for a guy who was a healthy scratch some nights, but it’s also interesting that this was the best deal Washington could get this early even after retaining half.

Time for Mantha to do what he does best and disappear into a subpar player again. Help us by hurting them, Mantha. It’s the least you could do.

    Who’s replacing Mantha? Miro?

Second and a Fourth with half salary retained. Seems like a solid trade to me
