Still, seems weird to reassign him to the AHL If he is being traded, unless another team is needing him to be in the AHL for cap or roster size purposes.

Bummer. Podz showed a lot better than a handful of guys in the bottom six who are still taking regular shifts.
Hopefully he’s back soon and this wasn’t just to showcase him as trade bait.
