Hell yeah solid price good term very nice

A little expensive but he had arbitration rights and it’s great to see Washington continue to invest in the young players that are going to be here long term.

Good deal IMO. Buys a couple of UFA years, doesn’t break the bank if he doesn’t keep progressing.

  4. Salary cap is supposed to increase by about that much this year. We aren’t going to be big spenders the next few seasons. This is a good deal.

It’s a good deal. It will age like wine.

Kinda feel bad for him lol, but not terrible deal for the caps

  7. Excellent. Hopefully will look even better 3 years from now.

    Let’s re-sign Mikey next!

  8. Sand and Strome staying are huge. We may not be a playoff chaser again next year but these are strong foundational moves for the future. Both are very capable core players we can absolutely build around when we finally have cap room.

If anything, we’re paying him to move the puck up the ice, and generate chances. I like the deal, but I wish he’d shoot the puck more

Now we need to get McMichael to a contract similar to Protas.

This is a great deal. If he develops at all (he’s only 23 or 24 so yeah he absolutely should), this is gonna turn into a really good contract in like year 2 or 3.

  12. A bit expensive for now, but I guess that’s necessary to get that contract length. If he continues to solidify his game, this looks quite good towards the end when we might be putting together a new core if things go well.
