Vortex Baseball 12U Goes Down On Final Play Against Desert Bandits
It came down to the last play, but Vortex Baseball 12U was on the wrong end of a 10-9 defeat to Desert Bandits on Monday. Desert Bandits trailed 9-8 in the bottom of the ninth inning when there was an error, scoring two runs.
Vortex Baseball trailed by five runs in the fourth inning, but then fought back to lower the final margin. Vortex Baseball scored eight runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Tegan Melanson in the fifth, a double by Chett W in the fifth, a in the fifth, a home run by Josh R in the sixth, and another home run by Tegan in the ninth.
