Gave him a lot of minuses to today so I think uh I owed him a couple of saves and uh just the way that he battled and you know he’s a leader on our team and he shows it every night so um really special for him to get that gamewinner

And and just fight through all the uh all the adversity you know we fac other so I was very very happy for him and gave him a lot of love at the end there let say on dry side a little over time anticipate that play you seen that

Before from looked like coming that’s good to know yeah I like that yeah um you know that power play unit is so talented and and they see open guys uh you know all over the place and and they just have Firepower uh any one of those

Guys can shoot the puck so I just want to make sure I was able to get my body in front of potential shots and and you know make sure I can make the first save as well as as be there for that uh that second shot as well so um you know I

Thought our Dem man did a great job of of just giving me shot and and taking away passing Lanes so really Happ happy with our effort and overtime is that a rewarding sequence for you just given how regulation and overtime it is it is winning in this league is is such a

Rewarding feeling and we understand how hard it is in any given night and and you know coming to West Coast going through the travel and and adjusting to time change all that good stuff it uh it makes you feel really good and and you know it’s a great confidence booster

Moving forward we we when a team gets down to 5D that early in the game we see the effect immediately on the the dmen because they’re gonna have to double up double up does it change the game much for you in in that sense I mean you

Never want to lose a dmen uh especially again with an offensive team like that and Grizz is so valuable to our group and uh just it’s really special to see the guys step up with that next man mentality and and just take understand that they need to uh be mindful of their

Shift length and and understand you know when to kept pucks deep and and stop plays so they can they could stay free fresh as fresh as they can with the 5D man rotation he didn’t have one of his Uber Knights McDavid but when you did see him out there

Yeah but are there things there that sort of not Mesmerize you but that really catch you ey yeah he’s a threat you know anywhere on the ice and you see him gaining speed from his own Zone and coming in and uh you know we we respect

A player we know when he’s on the ice and we have to respect his abilities and I think our gu did such a great job of of shutting him down and and really isolating him to you know not make his spectacular plays he did make a couple

Don’t get me wrong he’s an incredible player so um yeah really really happy with our the guys in front
