I don’t think Vatrano will be coming to NY this time around due to the Ducks already trading three players and retaining 50% of their salary’s, that’s the max a team can retain.
The rangers don't have any room because they are close to the cap
If we send rempe and edstrom down we can afford him but it won’t happen
Solid addition but if Drury doesn’t add a RW I’ll be very disappointed.
They need to get Vatrano and if they do then the Wennberg trade looks a lot better. Wennberg between Cuylle and Kakko, with JB on the 4th with Vesey and Goodrow.
It makes a huge difference when you can match up your bottom 6 against any line that’s on the ice.
If they get Vatrano and give up no starters they will be a match for any team.
Guentzel. Guentzel. Guentzel.
If it isn’t guentzel this was a waste.
Well, assuming there’s another move for a top 6 RW, you may get your wish, Jon. Lines could shake out like this…
Panarin-Trocheck-Laf
Kreider-Mika-New Guy
Vesey-Wennberg-Goody
Cuylle-Brodz-Kakko
Rangers needed a 1RW if they don’t get one they aren’t going anywhere
