Frank Corrado on Canucks interest in Guentzel, Lindholm not fitting, David Savard as D upgrade

Frank Corrado weighs in on the reports on the Canucks potentially trading Elias Lindholm so they can afford to acquire Jake Guentzel, if David Savard should be a trade target for the Canucks and the prices we’ve seen so far in trades.

  1. 7:10 – I like Frank but he´s not making sense here; first he says that the Penguins "want players that they can turn around in a hurry" and then goes on saying he "sees two players, Lekkerimäki and Willander". They are not players that will contribute "in a hurry". Probably two years away, maybe three in the case of Willander (being younger and a defenceman).

  2. 16:25 – If part of the answer to McDavid is "four good centers", wouldn´t it make sense to keep Lindholm, from Canuck´s perspective?

  3. Hey Vancouver how about Ryan Johansen who was put on waivers by Philadelphia after a trade with Colorado there’s a big centre they could use.

  4. this guy makes no sense, one side of his mouth says prices are thru the roof then the other side of his mouth he says nucks need to give up more in a deal? that's asinine 🙄

  5. nobody should care about Lindholm's feelings, he gets big money and was traded as rental so will get more wherever he wants to sign. Even if they don't trade him, he needs to suck it up and play hard

  6. You don’t have to trade.

Insiders get fed garbage info all the time.

Just because a source in the bruins said something doesn’t make it true.

Also teams take calls on all players from that logic they would have had to trade pettersson because they talked trade about him.

If the point was to trade him in order to acquire gentzeul but the cost is too high for him why would you still trade him.
