How was the Flames return for Hanifin?

The Golden Knights acquired defenceman Noah Hanifin from the Flames in exchange for defenceman Daniil Miromanov, a first-round pick, and a conditional third-round pick. What do you think about the return Calgary got for Hanifin? TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss.

  1. How has TSN still not figured out their audio levels for their channel? It seems like it might be just Jay's show but whoever is the editor of the clips needs to learn from other videos ON THIS CHANNEL

  2. Idiotic commentary, by that logic, no GMs would ever get fired because they're always doing the best job possible

  3. Seems like the only people that don’t play by the rules is Vegas. It seems like everybody else follows the rules

  4. Seems like Button is trying to sell hope to Flames fans with this one. You don't take a gamble on a 26 year old career minor league defencemen, that is not commensurate value that is well below commensurate value when dealing away a solid 2/3 guy like Hanifin. I really feel for Flames fans as their management just drops the ball at nearly every turn. Got nothing for Gaudreau, got the buttend of the stick on the Tkachuk trade, payed a 1st to get rid of Monahan who was turned around and traded for a 1st, got a bag of pucks for a solid 4/5 D in Tanev, at least Lindholm got them a 1st and some pieces. This team is imploding due to inept management and the media keeps trying to help them spin it as a positive.

  5. Salting my entire week's worth of meals with all the salt in the comment sections from people who don't know the rules

  6. Maybe not what some Flames fans hope for .. but I think it was fair value.
Now the Flames have a collection of high draft picks to use in rebuilding.
