  1. Lindholm has not been here long enough to to analyze properly. Still 6 weeks left in the season for Vancouver to figure out the right fit and injuries could make him even more valuable.

  2. Where is, what happened to centre Åberg [correction; Åman]?
(not playing in Vancouver, and not in Abbotsford)

  3. Let's just assume that there is merit to the rumours of Boston wanting Lindholm – would they pay something similar to what the Canucks had paid Calgary to acquire him? Seeing his play having declined in Calgary to start the year and getting worse in Vancouver, I highly doubt the Bruins will be willing to give a lot to acquire Lindholm. So now, if the Canucks flipped Lindholm to Boston to obtain a package that is less than what they gave to Calgary, who else would you package to Pittsburgh to get Guentzel, who for all accounts, is a better player than Lindholm? If it is a Raty, Podkolzin and Mikheyev plus draft picks, I am all for it… I just don't think the Canucks, for what they are willing to give up, have what the Penguins want to get this done.

  4. I am stunned at the lack of patience on Lindholm! He hasn´t been given the best opportunity to succeed, being moved around on three different lines in 16 games, and the whole team (especially Petey who he started with) has played bad after the All Star break, when Lindholm was acquired. That´s hardly Lindholm´s fault.

  5. 05:16 – Prices are extremely high right now? Taransenko was very cheap, IMO. Mantha was pretty cheap too. Tanev wasn´t that expensive either.

  6. Lindholm has been underachieving considerably unless perhaps this is what he is, in that case the Canucks would be better getting at least one winger.

Blueger to center the third, Suter to center the 4th.

Trade Mikheyev for a bag of pucks if you can.

  7. I think they need a longer look at Lindholm. The team overall has struggled since the All Star Break. They need to get Joshua back. I think Lindholm will be invaluable in the playoffs as a shutdown centre. Say what you want about Miller's improvement defensively, he's not a shutdown centre.

  8. Ok, Guentzel is gonna cost us Lindholm, probably Podkolzan, plus maybe a 3rd or 4th pick. We also don’t have the money to re-sign him unless we give him $9-10mil per season(Panarin money)…

  9. They really blew it with the Lindholm trade. I never liked it. It was too much to give up. They gave everything to get a slow plumber. He has no offensive talent anymore.
