Is Bedard going to be 5X better than McDavid? Bedard will have( at least) 4X as many base YG's than McDavid and despite this fact his base YG will sell for more than what McDavid's currently sell for. If the hobby wasn't irrational you'd think this would be a buying opportunity for McDavid. But it's probably not. The majority of the hobby are only interested in what's new.

What’s the breaking point for prices? Like who’s buying a $450 Platinum box? It used to be prices went up as the players in the rookie crops got older and became stars. Now all that hype and price is being built in before release. So assuming Bedard is a legend, are these prices gonna go even higher years from now? And what about 21-22 type stuff? The prices have come down on certain products, but how low can/will they get? Like with the quality issues and no legendary rookies in 21-22 at what point are those platinum boxes gonna be like $80-100 Canadian?

I re watched the last video and you did get 20 bedards. Box 19 is the only one where you don’t “bedard check” and I paused the video where you can see his skate and blackhawks logo on one of the cards when you were flipping through.

Im sad to say i preordered one box. I’d be willing to pay $200-300 for a BEDARD young guns but nothing starting at $2000. I can literally buy any other young guns in existence at that price.

I've opened one box of this, and the rookie autograph in my box was Chase Pearson (not a good pull), but my saving grace for my box was a Seismic Gold 10/50 of Kaprizov. Might see if I can score another box. I paid $170US. 23-24 price will be insane considering that the Series 2 box is projected to be double of the previous year.
