  1. Dubs is not gonna make a trade just to make a trade he’s waiting for the best deal which is exactly what he should do

  2. Trade Guentzel for 3 1st and a 3rd, Trade Eller, Graves (if anyone will take him),R. Smith, and Neto for picks. Load up on picks and trade them for prospects that can get into our lineup ASAP. Also resign Fleury and Guentzel in the offseason. … also sign Rico Fata.

  3. Trade Guentzel for a heavy price, get rid of everybody else hogging cap, and when the off-season rolls around, send Jake an offer he can't refuse and fleece everybody for a rental.

  4. Make no mistake Every competing team wants him. Dude is a stud in the playoffs.

Some won't have the assets, and all will be hesitant to part with them but this isn't an over the hill veteran add. It is a close to prime, top 10 active playoff performer. You're gonna have to pay up.

  5. Hahaha you said hope for the playoffs! I wasn't buying this team after preseason game 1 with Karlsson. For $10mil a season I expect immediate result. I've been saying since that game that sometimes the most expensive parts may not be the right parts

  6. Trade Jake Guentzel to Vancouver for Nils Hoglander and Tom Willander or Vasily Podkolzin or a 1st. Canucks trade Elias Lindholm to Boston for something. Trade Reilly Smith to the Bruins for Jake Debrusk. Debrusk and Hoglander refresh the Pens. Trade Graves back to the Devils for a 6th.

  7. Hopefully, Dubas stands his ground on Jake. It seems that he is, to this point. The others, he needs to hurry up and start dumping some of the dead weight for anything he get for them.

  8. The fact that no one was held accountable for the record power play futility in November tells me no lessons were learned from the last seven seasons. You can rearrange the deck chairs, but the ship has sunk.
