  1. I’ve got a gut feeling that we will see a bigger move in either Anderson or Savard move.

I hope we see value for Armia, Pearson, Allen and Evans maybe?

  2. Welcome back! Suzuki with MORE playoff wins than Matthews LOL!!! Love it. This team is setting its culture for next year so NO QUIT is great to see and makes the hockey more fun! Great to hear you're on for Friday! Gotta say if the habs take a D man with their first pick this year… yikes! Just get the best available forward. Like the idea of players to the Habs for picks. I think Friday will see MAYBE one deal for the Habs. If they can manage more GREAT!!! See you then!

  3. I will regrettably miss your Trade Deadline LIVE on Friday but it sounds like it will be a great show. I hope Hughes&Co will give you all something to talk about. I'm predicting a quiet Habs deadline but I fully expect Allen to be moved….and possibly the Habs being a 3rd party partner (sneaky suspicion Dubas in Pittsburgh and/or Treliving in TO will be calling Hughes). I think there is better chance something goes down at the draft. Anyways, have a great show on Friday DD!

  4. Welcome back. You have to remember Bergeivin wanted Glass, he did not want Suzuki. So we have to thank Vegas not Bergevin.

  5. That All Star Game experience must've knocked something loose mentally for Suzuki. Il est en feu. 🔥

  6. Welcome back good sir, and your timing coulden't be better haha

Great Game, Suzi is a Star!! 🌟 what a season he is having!! 😍😍

  7. People keep giving bergevin but he probably had no idea who Suzuki was until 1 hours prior to the trade , all the credit is to to assistant manager and/or head scout in those case and Timmins is the one responsible for Suzuki , ghule , xhekaj, Roy, Mailloux, and a lot of others.

Imagine if timmins had the chance of working with Hugues, who unlike bergevin isn’t handing out ridiculous contracts

  8. Can we please stop giving Bergevin credit for the Suzuki trade… Bergevin wanted Cody Glass and at the time Vegas thought Glass was going to be the better player and they didn’t wanna move Glass… Bergevin didn’t know much about Suzuki and Bergevin asked Timmins “what do you think about this Suzuki kid” Timmons said “good player, Make the deal”…. if it wasn’t for Timmins Bergevin would have moved on from that trade and we would have never had Suzuki… Tony Marinaro spoke to Timmins and Tony has told
    This story many times…

  9. If you are walking off the draft floor with one of these players and in no particular order in terms of potential… Cayden Lindstrom, Ivan Demidov, Tij Iginla, Berkly Catton or Trevor Connelly they all have the potential to impact his franchise in a big way… Only Franchise player in this draft in my opinion is Celebrini the others I listed all have superstar potential not quite franchise but elite superstar potential… Tij Iginla reminds me of a More physical Brayden Point, Trevor Connelly reminds me of Mathew Barzal with a better shot, Cayden Lindstrom reminds me of Pierre Luc Dubois but with more speed, Better shot and higher compete level he’s what Pierre Luc Dubois should have been… Ivan Demidov reminds me of Pavel Datsuyk, Berkly Catton reminds me of Jack Hughes very similar players in my opinion I think Jack Hughes will be the better player but if catton reaches his potential he could be a 80-90+ point player and Jack Hughes is most likely a 100+ point player if he’s healthy so similar skill sets just a little less offensive upside for Catton but still and amazing prospect… There are lots of amazing talents in this draft and all of them I named are not Lazy and have high compete levels so with our development team in Montreal we could get the best of those forwards I mentioned… Lots of D will be going in the top 10 so one of those forwards will be available and if we get one we will be in great shape… personally I’m hoping for Tij Iginla or Lindstrom.

  10. Min. 1st round for Savard. I think Hughes holds out for a 1st and a prospect. Any draft pick is going to be a late round pick.

Suzuki is easily going to hit 30 goals this year (5 to go) with 20 games to play(only one off his career high). Could he hit 40? If he stays on this pace, then yes. Can he keep this pace for 20 games to end the season.

If they don't have a top 5 pick, I think they need to make a trade to get into the top 5, and take Cayden Lindstrom. 18yr old, 6'4" 216lb center, that some are comparing to Lindros. Yes please. May not help the team for a couple of years, but yes, I'll take a Lindros type player for the future. Make for a nice 1, 2, 3 down the middle. Suzuki, Dach, Lindstrom.

  11. I don't expect the Habs to be drafting a star quality player in that first round or any other round in the draft. But the priority will be secondary scoring and also improve the supporting cast on this team, your 3rd and 4th line guys. The types referred to as your "plumbers" a number of decades ago

  12. Too bad I'm working Friday.. 🙁 I'm one of those that don't mind if they lose this time of year for a better draft pick but I'm happy for them when they win.

I've also kept myself from hoping too much on one prospect. I was disappointed last season when the Habs picked a defensemen. I would have preferred a forward. That Reinbacher kid looks like a good guy so I let it go. So this year, I'll just keep my expectations open and hope for the best.

  13. Anyone out there thats knows Roy well and predict what his ceiling will be? That was a heck of a goal from getting the puck and burning it. I was like “who was that?” Welcome back
