Seems like a great signing, PK, some limited goal scoring touch, good hustle kind of guy to help elevate our bottom 6 even further.
This team, if Mittelstadt works out and Nuke comes back as Nuke has the potential to be as deep as the Cup team IMO. That’s even not considering Landy coming back or not.

This Avs team has leveled UP the past 2 days. Trenin is great depth addition. Big, heavy, defensively minded forward who is shut down on the penalty kill. Good shit Cmac

Excellent pickup. I really wish it wasn’t Hanzel in return, I fell in love with the kid’s tape and thought he coulda the steal of the draft for us, but if Gulyaev pans out that’ll make him expendable anyway. I’m a little concerned about our defensive depth still, just praying the Condor takes a buyout and flies home from Buffalo

Every time I look at Trenin’s offensive stats I’m a little surprised, because when he plays the Avs he always scores, so in my mind he’s a top six forward. At the very least, getting Trenin on the team means that Winnipeg and Dallas can’t have him to decimate us in the playoffs this year.
I like both of these moves. Big, mean bastards for the 4th line in exchange for draft picks we didn’t need and a long shot prospect. Chips in the middle this year, LFG.
