ok, PJ played alright here. He did great on a break-away, and got the deflection by standing in front of the net. BUT… I would like to see him be more of a play-maker, like McDvaid/Drai/Nuge/Yamo, where his vision and hockey IQ on the ice, directly leads to offensive opportunities and goals. He is seriously lacking in this area.
Jesse is a real player! can't wait to see more of him and McDavid! This is pure enjoy to get to see my favorite player Jesse and Top tier player a legendary McDavid playing in same team!! His pass was unreal to Jesse and therefore Jesse took the chance and scored!! Who else would it has been than McDavid? Nobody! Go Oilers!
without the fans his drive and love of the game shows every game ,, no backwards movement, his wing span is impressive , big fast and mean, the way to the big league
I was definitely in the minority with this kid. Always wanted the Oilers to hold on to him and let him develop properly. So grateful Jesse took his career into his own hands and did the right thing going home to work on his game and continue developing. Ken Holland did all the right things, so it's a minor miracle that he's sitting here today in this situation. So grateful it all worked out!
