sure LD is not our most urgent need, but it's also not a bad idea to upgrade the depth on that side a bit. Something might be going back out anyway, we aren't quite done yet

I’m kinda wondering if they picked him up because they’re planning on getting Parayko to put with them. I don’t recall, but reading up apparently the two played pretty good together during the blues puck run.
Overall, I’m not upset about a low scoring D. We have enough offensive talent to make up for it. What we need is a D core that can’t shut down the other teams offence, limit scoring chances, and take the puck away so guys like Matthews Marner and Nylander can keep doing what they do best.
