Thatcher Demko was great between the pipes, stopping 27 of the 28 shots he faced while Quinn Hughes netted his first goal in 17 games to help the Vancouver Canucks overcome the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1 on Thursday.

Be nice see Vegas miss playoffs for the next decade lol
Great game, I hope the nucks stand pat on this line-up for a good run, maybe the best run.
Canucks put in an all-defensive clinic these 3 games, only giving up 3 goals this entire road trip. Hopefully the Canucks can enjoy this 9 game home stand with plenty of rest and practices between games without having to travel.
It's always a good day when you can beat the former Stanley Cup Champions.
Demko's glove hand continues to amaze me. If he sees it coming, he'll catch it.
more forward help coming Kessel soon be a Canuck and maybe hopefully bring back Toffoli
Having Soucy in the lineup really does make a difference in stabilizing the Canucks defense
Two teams that give us fits are the Kings and Knights
They are big and strangle us
We beat these teams by being fast, systematic, efficient, not taking stupid penalties, LEARNING FROM MISTAKES and having everyone contributing and doing their job.
Ps Mikheyev is going to start breaking out. He is playing well and doing the right things. The puck will start going in the net for him just at the right time for us
Garland is nasty this season
Wow, lots of Canucks fans in Vegas!
Ohhhhhhhh, yeah, nice win, shout out to Demko, for all the great saves, go Canucks.
3-0 without myers 😂
and just like that, losing starts giving way to winning again for the Canucks. February was not a kind month for the Canucks, but March is looking a fair bit better so far.
Connor Garland looked pretty, decorating the Vegas net with his rebound goal.
So we had 31 shots through 2 periods, then a whopping 4 in the 3rd? Oof.
Mind you, based on their shots total, i really wondered if this was ACTUALLY Vegas we were playing.
Good game by the boys in white tonight.
Vegas hasn't gotten over Demko psychologically since the 2020 playoffs.
Hands up. Who wants to see the Knights choke and not make the playoffs?
"Vegas" are looking for Celebrini? 😮
Let's go boys!!
another huge character win, right after beating the kings! way to go canucks!
Vegas has been terrible recently
Demmer, for once, gets out-goalied, and wins anyway!
Mikheyev is actually a really good player. Speed, positioning, vision, defensive awareness.
Podz in the lineup: 12-2-0
THATCHER THE CATCHER
Demkos glove is a vaccuum
Cameraman was drunk today
Podkolzin and Elias Lindholm look good together, this may be the next forward pairing the team needs. The nine-game home stand with a lot of practice time will sort the lines out heading into the playoffs.
Someone tell @SPORTSNET it's 2024, 720p is not it.
LFG boys. We put on an offensive clinic in the first two periods and then clamped down to hold the lead in the 3rd.
Vegas bout to be 30 million over the salary cap to have to repeat with this roster
Check Demko's gloves for magnets!
We’re so back! And imagine how it will be when Joshua is back 🔥
On to a … refreshes page….9 game home streak
Go Canucks Go
Special delivery from the captain
Canucks looked well up for it tonight….they were quick, had a lot of sharpness in their skating, first to the puck….and Demko, man, what a goalie…..good to see Quinn Hughes with a smile on his face, too, during interview….Great road trip, now back to BC for an extended home series of games…..let’s go guys! 👍🏴🏒🇨🇦
Dakota Joshua's return ….. hoping for even more offensive power .
The Canucks are so much better coached, the contrast is embarrassing.
This is one of those games we saw before the All-Star break. Their play can be described as a-matter-of-fact-ly, no drama. Play your 30-40 seconds. Put the puck in the opponent's zone and go for a line change. I am really feeling sorry for Mikheyev who played really well tonight; just no puck luck on goal.
Great three game road trip rebound after the earlier three game losing streak on the road. Low scoring playoff hockey. Go Canucks 👍
All we need is Joshua back and we're set. The energy from the boys tonight was intense. Looking forward to our 9 game homestand so the boys can get some rest at home
