The current ones do to. Fuck Tim Peel fuckin loser, howd his career end again?just to give u an idea what a piece of shit he was and the nhl got him out as fast as they could so ppl wouldnt ask more qusstions. Just like Tim Donoghy.

I’m going to take off my Leafs glasses for just a quick minute and say Tim Peel seriously needs to put the bottle down and have his phone taken away.

And now I will put them back on and point out he was a corrupt alcoholic jackass who in an actually well run league, had no business in the rink.

Not sure where in the article it highlights that Tim Peel was biased against the leafs organization while reffing.

    Solid clickbait though.

  4. What you posted straight up does not have an admission of bias…

  5. Tim Peel is trying to stay relevant on twitter but this headline is clickbait nonsense.

Refs admitting to bias is old hat. DoPS on the other hand….

  7. What part of that is interesting? There’s 0 “admission” of any bias, nonsense “article” about nothing.

I’m a Leafs fan, I hate the refs, but this is nothing.

Think about how much the average canadian hates the maple leafs.

Now think about how many of those people grow up to be referees.

    Of course there’s inherent bias.

If anyone wants to know why officiating is the way it is in the NHL, just take a look at Tim Peels twitter account lol

This “article” is extremely misleading. There’s no tirade and no admission of bias. He’s mocking and trolling Leafs fans on Twitter, which is not the same as saying he was biased against the Leafs. Do I think that the league and the refs are biased against the Leafs? Yes. Do I think that this is an “admission”? No.

Some of you guys need to develop thicker skins and not take this stuff so personally.

Not thinking it was a penalty doesn’t = bias against the leafs. Should’ve known to expect a BS article from a basement website.

Clickbait. He doesnt say anything biased at all. He gives his opinion on the hit and that’s it.

Time for AI to call the rulebook with these meat heads just raising their arms when they hear it through their ear piece.

Refs feel more pressure during leafs games.
    To be good.
    To not screw up.
Not all ,but some even feel the desire to be ‘seen’.
While I have met and talked to refs, I know several Pro players fairly well and most love the fact they can make a very good living while being pretty much anon in a lot of markets as long as they avoid certain areas, but even those guys admit to getting a boost while playing in the biggest markets , crowds etc.
Some love the spotlight and others hate it etc.
But T.O. gets the extreme from all types involved for obvious reasons.

Somebody should inform Bissonette that “putting on the burners” before a bodycheck is the definition of charging.
