The Flyers luck was definitely on their side when they drafted Sam Ersson in the 5th round of the 2018 draft. He is the Flyers #1 goalie for now and for the future. I would love to see Danny B to acquire a decent veteran backup goalie, but for now I kind of like having the two Swedes in the two goalie tandem. Sam Ersson seems very humble and down to earth, and he had a very good coaching system in Lehigh Valley to prepare him for the NHL.
